I’ve always thought that sounds and music were key to any good adult film. Like non-adult film, a good score or soundtrack builts momentum, creates tension, signifies a climax, and creates mood.
Porn has a hard time with this concept for some reason. Either it’s a long, droning ambient hum made on Garage Band, a slimey post-funk electric bass line, or nothing at all.
Some Alt porn releases have tried to incorporate music, but seem to fall short. 30 second clips of Pop Punk between scenes just doesn’t do it for me.
I want it to sound like something I would actually listen to while getting it on.
So, here’s the porn soundtrack of my dreams.

I think the issue is that most musicians won’t allow their music to be used in porn, at least not for free/cheap. So a producer on a budget must either scramble to find someone good and non-expensive, or learn how to make tracks by themselves.
I definitely appreciate good porno music. I think that Eon McKai has some good sounds, and so does Joanna Angel. And of course, NoFauxxx, of what I’ve seen anyway. ; )
Eon McKai’s Neu Wave Hookers… Gravy Train!!! is on the film’s soundtrack along with Electrocute… I was stoked.

Kuono, I would have to pick somebody who could benefit from some attention, like a local act perhaps. So, my vote would be for Jenna Riot, TITS, Hey Willpower, or Gravy Train!!! I think HWillpower might be the most customer-friendly.
