Like most of you, I am still recovering from an amazing (but Long) weekend at Pride.
Good Vibrations (and especially me) had so much fun giving out lots of free stuff and making friends at all the various events over the weekend.
In case you missed us, we had our booth set up in Dolores Park during the Trans Rally on Friday. The wheel of pleasure was in full effect and we were handing out Pearl Drop Vibrators, Masturbation Books, Lube, GV Magnets, and lots of Lollipops all day long.
It seemed like everyone brought their dogs, friends, and snarkiest t-shirts to Dolores Park. The bands were rocking, it was a gorgeous afternoon, and everyone just seemed really happy to be there. It’s a beautiful thing to see when hundreds of people can get together, have a good time, and enjoy a beautiful day while celebrating ourselves and each other for who we are.
There were several points during the afternoon where I just had to step back and look around at everyone. See friends smiling and sharing a blanket on the grass, see all the little dogs playing with each other, kids, parents, and grandparents hugging and smiling, people in beautiful colorful outfits dancing near the stage. It was very Norman Rockwell, if Norman Rockwell had envisioned a utopia free of gender confinements and brimming with sex-positivity. I think he wouldv’e been able to see something special there.
We also had a lot of fun with Buck Angel, who hung out with us, signed posters, talked to fans, and was really nice. He even gave us some cool hats.
