At GV we are always trying to expand our knowledge of accurate sex information but we just may have outdone ourselves this time with our brand new programming, "Women Like Me". While we have always been focused on sexual health and education, Women Like Me (or WLM for short) will be a health-focused program whose theme will change periodically giving vital attention to important women’s health issues like menopause, breast cancer, body image, and so on. Seminars, speakers, resources, and partnerships with amazing outside resources like Lyon-Martin are just a few of the things you will have to look forward to in the next few months.

But in order to get this program started right we need to create a photo montage that will represent all the women we are trying to reach with WLM, and that is why we need YOU! We will be having 2 photo shoots at our Polk Street Store in San Francisco to get pictures of women to use in our Women Like Me posters and brochures. We need to get as many different types of women as possible because that is who we want to include, everyone! We need as many ethnicities, sizes, ages, economic backgrounds, etc. as we can get. Each woman will have a 10 minute Time Slot where they will get their portraits taken, and as our way of saying Thank You, GV will mail you a copy of your photo. If you want to help GV and make a difference in lives of other women just like you PLEASE make a photo reservation or come by our Polk Street Store On:

Wednesday, April 25th from 5:30-8:00PM or

Friday, April 27th from 5:00-9:00PM.

Refreshments will be served. Your make-up and hair is up to you, so come ready to get your picture taken. In order to make sure you get a time slot to have your picture taken please contact Allison at 415-974-8985 x203 and set up an appointment.

Our Polk Street Store is located at: 1620 Polk Street (between Sacramento and Clay) in San Francisco.
