Go put on that song where Angela Lansbury sings or if you prefer, the Celine and Peabo version . . .

This blog entry is one more about being a practicing . . . blogger, learning how to write about, talk about, think about . . . sex . . . and about acknowledging sexual energy. Admitting, claiming, welcoming . . . Do not read this here entry without a smile on your face. No smile, that means stop. Smile, that means go on, now read.

Turn back my clock a ways. It was one of those times, when you know something intuitively. Yet the thought is not yet manifest at conscious level.

My close friend Barb mused, during a humor-filled, mind-meld conversation at one of our favorite Capitol Hill watering holes. Barb said, “. . . a lot of great work has been done on sexual energy.”

Obvious? Yet I had never to that moment paused to think about it in just that way and couldn’t have put the thought in words. Then came Barb and her wisdom. That was then, years ago. This is now.

Water passes under the bridge, a lot of water til then, along comes today, now, in the context of my Good Vibrations Month #2.

Here tonight, or this morning or whatever it is, trying to write this blog entry . . . capturing in words the idea of a basic fundamental energy in the universe . . . putting it in words, without saying much . . . of what I’d like to say on a Saturday night. Do good things come to those who wait?

There’s that moment when you realize . . . yes, I like her! I like her more than I just like her. I want to know her, find out about her, explore ideas with her. Explore her? What I wouldn’t give for one of those “Tale As Old As Time” moments with her just now? Tale as old as time, song as old as rhyme . . .

Sudden as the sun, rising in the east . . .

I like her! Do you think she knows? Can she feel the energy from here? What’s she going to think?

I like her smile! I like her, and I do believe she’s a good person who cares about, pays attention about . . . others. The mantra about paying attention because what one does has ramifications for the lives of others. I have no doubt she knows that, because it’s there, in her smile.

Yes, I’m going to see her again soon! Will she see me glow? What’s she going to think? When she smiles, the world lights up . . . barely even friends, then somebody bends, unexpectedly. WWwwwwhhooooooooooaaahhhhh! I like her.

Okay, even if she doesn’t like me, that way, well, I can enjoy knowing that I like her anyway. I can enjoy knowing I can feel. Ahhhhh, life! Do good things come to those who wait?

Maybe I’ll call my friend Barb, just as I have before. I’ll tell her that once more, one more time. Tell her what? Hey, Barb, my skirt just blew up. What advice have you this time, good friend?

Okay, there. This entry was written on sexual energy. WWwwwwhhooooooooooaaahhhhh!

Maybe one of these days, she will . . . the one I’m in like with . . . maybe she will take a walk with me down . . . down Valencia Street to visit the GV store there. What shall we pick out?

Is it soup? Or, is it art? Is this a sad story or one that has a happy ending . . . down the path a ways? Here’s to hoping, and those who wait! WWwwwwhhooooooooooaaahhhhh! Goodnite now, Chip!

Stay tuned. Same bat time. Same bat channel!
