Since I outed myself publicly as a quinquagenarian, a wanker and a hedonist, I have been reverberating from the shock!
Internal processing by that pesky, critical, analyzing, natal-5-planets-in-Virgo voice (for those of my readers who, like me, give some credence to Western Astrology) gave me the jitters: PLUS a birthday
(9/11) which took me closer than ever before to being a sexagenarian!
Talking of sex, not long after my initial blog, I got together with a friend from the early play-daze of the 80’s. Sweeeeeet! For me, friendly sex is such a good thing. I find I’m more easy-going, tolerant, patient, lose weight and have more energy. Sounds good huh? I find I can even tolerate being called “Babe”- perhaps even enjoy it!
I think that’s what makes me so leery of computer dating; the new, the unfamiliar, the uncomfortable. Mind you, I’ve recently been hearing a few more dating success stories from some of my female peers, which is so encouraging I just might give it a try. Wish me luck!
