A Little Too Explicit

Category: Judi B. | Written by: Judi B. |

So, I FINALLY heard back from YouTube about their decision to pull our GVTV episode featuring an interview with Shine from Pink and White Productions.

Here’s the email:

Hi there,
Thanks for your email.
We’ve reviewed your video and found that it’s a little too explicit, and is in violation of our Terms of Use. It cannot be re-instated.
Please review our Terms of Use here: http://www.youtube.com/t/terms
Please also take a look at our community guidelines that explain the reasons for our Terms of Use: http://www.youtube.com/t/community_guidelines
Hope this helps,

Well, “hi there” was a good start, but I have to say I’m disappointed by their decision to deny our request to reinstate the video.

I mean, come on YouTube, we all know about the army of conservatives combing your site, flagging anything that has queer content…. so can’t you be cool (like Blip TV) and let adults decide what they want to watch?

Speaking of Blip TV…the video is still hosted on their site, and if you haven’t seen it, here it is. And you can decide for yourself….is it “a little too explicit” for you?

You know how some directors leave little hidden moments in scenes? They’re called “easter eggs”. Well, I spotted an easter egg, probably an accident, which is the coca-cola product placement at the very beginning of this clip!
