Sometimes, life is good. Like yesterday, for instance. Me, and a few of my coworkers were lucky enough to be invited to a press screening of the new film by the makers of The Crash Pad—Superfreak.

Porn at 2:00 on a Thursday afternoon?…okay! I reply with my RSVP. It so happens that the theater is a block away from our Valencia street store, meaning we can stop by to see the very cool new window treatments (if you live in SF, come check it out!).

After a great catch-up lunch with our toy buyer (and yes, we talked about work all during lunch, funny that happens!) we head over to the theater.

Soon, the lights are dimmed and the action starts.

Now, I’m not going to give it all away, oh no, no, no. But let me highlight:

The premise of the film is that the ghost of Rick James joins an all-girl party, and things get really freaky. The film starts with a great solo performance by the oh-so-cute Madison Young (of madisonbound.com). Let’s just say that she works a Hitachi and a glass wand until she (and the audience) is panting. The spirit of Rick is in her…that’s for sure.

On to the party….Like a sex angel from sex heaven, Madison breezes in, and sets her sights right away on the boyish Dylan. With no time to waste, they get busy with lots of cocksucking and fucking. That’s right, they skip the small talk and proceed to get sweaty. Hey, this is a good party!

Our next pairing involves Shawn and Vasa, in a kitchen scene that involves lots of….liquid. Hey, these porn stars look familiar….oh wait, I think I may have seen them around the GV offices!

Anyway, the chemistry is great, and the look of enjoyment on Vasa’s face let’s everyone know how much fun they’re really having.

Next up, Guy Handful and Rozen take “processing” to new heights, as a conversation in the bathroom turns into a reverse cowboy session that ensures that anyone in line for the loo is pretty much outta luck.

And if that’s not enough, the film ends with not one, not two, but three femmes who decide the party isn’t over even though the other guests have gone home. This scene is great because, hello, three hot girls really, truly getting it on?….uh, yeah. Dana Dearmond (of www.danadearmond.com), Lorelei Lee (Clearly Sex) and Princess Donna (webmaster, www.wiredpussy.com) end the film with a………bang. Let’s just say a few of us went, “ohhhhhh!” and we’re a tough crowd.

We were lucky enough to see the “making of” documentary from the Extras DVD…in which the stars describe their characters and their feelings about partaking in the project, and porn, in general.

Lorelei (who is adorable!) was my favorite….and discusses that WOMEN LIKE TO FUCK. She touches on the fact that women’s sexuality is often overlooked, dumbed-down and not validated, and that this film (and The Crash Pad) really highlights the raw, real, funny and sometimes “not-pretty” aspects of pure sexuality (and orgasms).

“I sound like a goat when I come and she sounds like she’s laughing,” says Dana Dearmond at one point. And it’s true, the sounds alone in this movie make it clear that everyone at this “party” is having a really, really good time.
